This event is co-hosted by the Corridor Conservation Coalition and the Corridor Earth Day Project. The day’s event will include speakers, demonstrations, vendors, live music, door prizes and fun activities for children and adults. It is a free event and open to the public. It is sure to be a good time and a wonderful celebration! Also, please note that we are asking organizations to provide an interactive activity at their booth that relates to caring for the Earth and can be done in a sustainable fashion, as this is going to be a GREEN event. Examples of activities include making eco-jewelry (reusing old odds n ends), homemade cleaning products, edible wild foods, Tree ID, live animals, environmental jeopardy, etc. Please call or email Emy Sautter for moore information. 319.395.6700 or esautter@prairiewoods.org |
